The indicator is the P&F Chart of the NYSE Bullish Percent Index.
I am currently reading Thomas Dorsey's book on P&F Charting. The warning sign is a "Bear Correction Market". Dorsey says the Bear Correction risk level is like a red light changing to flashing red. It may be okay to drive thru the intersection, but be sure to stop, and look both ways for Mack Trucks....
